Cornering Performance
The BMW 330i Sedan couldn’t match the K5 GT’s cornering performance under both wet and dry conditions, with the K5’s all-new chassis and Pirelli® P-ZERO™ All-Season Tires helping to provide better overall handling performance and a 0.947 maximum dry cornering G-force capability.
Wet & Dry Slalom Handling
In both wet and dry conditions, the K5 GT’s sport-tuned suspension provided the confident handling required to complete a slalom course at higher speeds than the BMW 330i Sedan.
Quarter-Mile Sprint
The K5 GT reached a higher terminal speed of 103.3 mph and set a faster time of 14.2 seconds in the quarter mile, displaying the exhilaration of 290 turbocharged horsepower.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA). Standard Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) is designed to help detect a potential collision and automatically apply the brakes in a variety of circumstances. With available Forward Collision-Avoidance (FCA)-Junction Turning, the front camera and radar can detect vehicles when turning at intersections, helping you avoid collisions.
Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control-Curve with Highway Driving Assist
Available Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control-Curve (NSCC-C) automatically adjusts to maintain the driver’s pre-set speed and to keep a safe distance from the vehicle traveling directly ahead. On highways where information is available, Highway Driving Assist (HDA) can control the vehicle’s steering, acceleration and deceleration functions.
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA)
Available RCCA scans for oncoming obstacles as you back up. If the system detects a potential hazard crossing into your intended path, it activates audio and/or visual warnings and possible braking intervention.
Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)
Available BCA is designed to help detect vehicles in your blind spot in certain situations, including when you change lanes, and may apply the brakes to help mitigate a collision.
Safe Exit Assist
Available Safe Exit Assist (SEA) uses rear corner radars to detect any approaching cars from behind, warning your passengers. It overrides attempts to deactivate the Electronic Child Safety Lock until it’s safe for your rear passengers to open and exit the vehicle.
